This year,Therapet Foundation celebrated their 16th Anniversary in East Texas with a special awards dinner to honor all the animals and volunteers that make this organization function throughout the year. At this time, a small group of animals and humans receive special recognition for exceptional service. All the owners of past Therapet Awards Winners were honored as well.

Our Newest Award Winners for 2009-2010
Therapet Visitation Animal of the Year - Judge, Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, owned by Judy Gregg. Despite his size, Judge puts patients of all ages at ease with his gentle nature.
Therapet Volunteer of the Year - Kathleen McCullough has had several dogs in the program over the years, each one outstanding. She also guest lectures on AAT and helps with the fundraising year round. We are happy to honor her as Therapet Volunteer of the Year!
Therapet Therapy Animal of the Year - Gabby, yellow lab, loved by the Cathcarts and Trish Gailey. We lost Gabby earlier this year but his outstanding service will live on in our memories.
